Today's Woman
So far, it has been a tireless struggle. In a bid to seperate the tangled connections that have rendered the human race confused about the real position of the woman! Do not revert this message into a feminist movement, and we cannot deny that modernity and civilization has stylishly degraded the worth of women, and we are now looked upon as mere things.
There’s a lot of responsibility attached to being female. Many may see this write up as too much analysis of the gender subject matter, because we have a general acceptance that the world is as it is supposed to be. True, but humans factor on most of the issues connected with the dynamic nature of life.
There’s a whole lot of factors including shifts in paradigm, era modification, evolution, behavioral patterns, and the overall twist in the designation of gender roles caused by mostly economic factors, knowledge and awareness perceived negatively or positively depending on every individuals level of comprehension.
Today as a woman in Africa, there are a lot of benefits we have successfully attained from the long course of gender projects targeted at grooming and elevating the female gender to not only become independent but as a means of reducing the burden placed on the shoulders of men, which in many situations have rendered them ‘villains’. This, they may be unaware of because, they are only focused on the part of ‘sole provider which they play within their immediate or former families neglecting the need for their nurturing sides.
As a result of this incomprehensible feeling of being the supreme entity within the family setting, men sometimes display unintentional dictatorial tendencies, fueled by the woman incapacity to fend for herself, the children or render financial support when the need arises.
Women on the other hand remain in relationships that have become ‘situationships’ as a means of sacrifice, in order to secure stability for their children.
Asides the bitter interpretation a lot of people here in Africa have about feminism or advocacy groups that support feminist movements, there’s this inborn stereotype of a perceived weakness, verbalised into a natural instinctive trait that every woman should possess.
Excerpts.
That notion has only been natured by those who do not really know the virtues of women. They should reflect on their most precious person on the whole wide globe . He will eventually realise it is a woman
