Time always tells - Hassana Suleiman
A lot of humans have a rift with time. An emotion that suggests a fear of change. So many feel that time is too slow, it makes them antsy while some feel that it is too fast, makes them feel out of control. Whichever the case may be, we may never be satisfied with time or life in its entirety.
We forget that time is not an opponent, but our friend in actual sense of thoughts. We just hate for the truth to be presented to us, right in our faces and that is exactly what time does. It always tells.
Time may seem like a harbinger of sorrow, defeat, may even look like endings which we detest, because we tend to look more at thing that have gone instead of the new chapters that have been unfolded before us.
Time will tell on you when you’re true, when you’re lazy, when you’ve been mean, when you’ve put in the work and also when you decide to be apathetic towards life. Time and truth work in similar factories. With karma as their handbook, they have these characteristics that rile up people who remain untrue to themselves. People who fear to age, people who fear to face the consequences of their actions, or people who fear the unknown.
Above all this, we just could be hiding behind a lot of shame and trauma and time’s best hobby is peeling off past wounds so that we can relive situations and learn lessons from them. The very much needed revision for mankind.
Some people may chose to learn and relearn as much as time, the teacher repeats each educative scenario, changing the characters and theme to make it seem a different situation, a game only the wise can connote.
Time is our greatest ally, but only those who have deep reasoning recognize this.
